1. Rates


All rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars. Rates are for a minimum rental of 24 hours daily. Rates are inclusive of full maintenance and unlimited kilometers. Rates are subjected to changes without prior notice.


2. Vehicle Availability

Reservations will be confirmed by vehicle group only and not by particular vehicle model within the group.


3. Insurance Top


Rates include coverage of S$500,000.00 for third party property damage, unlimited for third party death or bodily injury. The hirer is obliged to promptly report any accident, theft or vandalism involving the vehicle to SMART rental office and/or the nearest police station within 24 hours. A valid police report will be required to allow SMART's investigation of such accident. Failure to comply with the above may void all liability potection. Cover for the loss of the vehicle by fire and theft are included together with cover for damages to the vehicle depending on SMART's rental agreement.


4. Collision Damage Waiver(CDW)


CDW rates :-

Group A - S$15 per day

Group B - S$20 per day

Group C - S$25 per day

Group D - S$40 per day

Missing items or accessories are not protected by our insurance or purchase of CDW, and will be the responsibility of the hirer, i.e. radio cassette, CD player/changer, hub caps or any other accessory fitted.

5. Driver's License & Age


The hirer and any additional driver must be at least 23 years of age, possess a valid driving licence and have a minimum of two year's driving experience.


6. Parking and Traffic Fines and Fees


All parking fees and parking or traffic fines are the responsibility of the hirer.


7. Baby Seat


S$5.00 per day per baby seat or a maximum of S$50.00 per month.


8. Delivery & Collection


A minimum of S$25.00 per delivery or collection will be levied during our office hours, and S$35.00 per delivery or collection after our office hours.


9. Excess Hours

Each hour or part thereof in excess of a 24 hour day is charged at one fifth (1/5) of the daily applicable rate.


10. Petrol


All our vehicles are to be fueled by Unleaded petrol only. If the tank is not refueled in same level as per delivered, the cost of refueling, including a service charge, will be levied.


11. Extension of Rental


Should the hirer wish to extend the rental, it is important that the renting station be advised immediately and the required additional rental deposit paid so that the insurance cover will be extended. Failure to do so may mean that the hirer is driving the vehicle without insurance coverage.



12. Terms of Payment


We accept all major credit/charge cards i.e. AMEX, VISA, DINERS and MASTERCARD. Signature of the hirer on the rental agreement shall be sufficient in directing credit charges. Any credit extended to a corporate organization must be support by a letter of authorization and/or a purchase requisition. A refundable deposit of S$500.00 paid by CASH is required upon taking delivery of the vehicle.
